+Risks, Side Effects, and Limitations
While neuromodulator treatments are widely used and generally well tolerated, potential risks and side effects include but are not limited to:
  • Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness at injection sites
  • Headache or flu-like symptoms
  • Asymmetry or uneven softening
  • Drooping of the eyelid or brow (ptosis), usually temporary
  • Unintended muscle weakness near the treated area
  • Rare allergic or hypersensitivity reactions

After your appointment:
  • Avoid rubbing or massaging treated areas for 24 hours
  • Skip intense exercise and saunas for the rest of the day
  • Do not lie flat for several hours
A two-week review can be arranged if needed.

All treatments use Health Canada-approved neuromodulators with medical oversight.
  • Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Not appropriate for individuals with certain neuromuscular conditions
  • A full medical history and contraindication screening is completed before treatment, and treatment may be declined if deemed not clinically appropriate
  • Treatments are typically spaced at least 3 months apart
